November 14th, 2008 at 08:46:10 Not really. My father`s been driving american GM cars since the 70`s and never had any major problems. BTW, most newer BMW M engines hardly manage to get up to 150000 kilometers without major overhaul. It`s is very well known that those engines are very unreliable.
